Families Run for Ovarian Cancer 2nd Annual

ROC Star 5K/1Mile Run:

Race Details:

Join us as we run to find a cure for Ovarian Cancer. Proceeds from the race go to FamiliesROC, a not-for-profit organization that promotes health and wellness for ovarian cancer patients and their families. FamiliesROC supports research and awareness of this silent killer and donates funds to the Washington University Research Group for Ovarian Cancer, the National Ovarian Cancer Alliance, and to our local awareness organization SLOCA (St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness.) Kids 1 mile fun run will immediately follow the 5K finish. There will be free food and drink and lots of fun things to do before and after the race, so come out and celebrate the survivors and support a great cause!


**Course timed and accurately measured by Big River Running Co.


Prizes and Goodies:

Cash prizes for the top 3 male/female finishers overall

Medals for top 3 male/female age group finishers.

All participants who sign up by September 20 will receive long sleeve t-shirt and race goodie bag.


Survivors:

Survivors who walk/run will be given a special teal long sleeve t-shirt to designate their winning the battle as well as special treats and gifts. This is a race to celebrate the human spirit's ability to overcome odds, and we will be celebrating the survivors and their families. Come and walk/runwith your fellow survivors and feel the joy and camaraderie.
